Joan of Arc

Joan of Arc or The Maid of Orléans, was a French heroine that played a major role in the final phase of the 100 Years War between France and England. She rose from humble & inconsequential beginnings to help France win the war only to be abandoned by them. Considered the patron saint of France today, in her time, she was burnt alive by the English for being a heretic. This is her incredible story.
